Fixed the family breakfast today, first one with only our girls eggs.
Not all of ours are laying yet, but I'm seeing more eggs everyday.

I would think it depends on the breed how high they can fly, but all 29 of mine have no trouble flying as high as they want.
I have Anconas, Black Minorcas, Silver Spangled Hambergs, Blue Andalusians, Silver Polish and WCB Polish. And all can fly up to the top of our 8 foot gate.

Stud earrings are usually held on by whats called a tension nut, it curls around from a flat piece with a hole in it.
If you can have a friend use a pair of needle nose pliers or better yet rosary pliers, they should be able to spread the nut and loosen the tension on it without hurting you...
