Perches that raise up for cleaning

Sorry, wrote this tired. Definitely pivoting. Cleaning out my coop isn't too bad with a lifting perch. I bring a 2 foot squeegee broom and it takes 5 minutes to clean out.

Perches that raise up for cleaning

Hey, I am redesigning the inside of my coop. Moving the perches around and the nesting box. I am wanting to make the perches to where the side of the floor raises up to the ceiling to make for easy cleaning. How can I attach it to the studs on the wall so that it can pivot to the ceiling? Keeping chickens in t a run but separate from the adults

Moving chickens away from the coop during the day and back at night

I usually just throw food in the coop for them to eat. Never tried to motivate them to do anything. I have some that run up to me and some that run away. Doing it in the evening is great idea. Are they pretty good about finding their way back home?

Moving chickens away from the coop during the day and back at night

I would prefer to move in mass which would be the easiest way possible. I have never let them out of the run area so I don't know if they would just run for the hills or if they would follow me.

    Mounting automatic chicken coop door

Either way would work well as far as protecting against predators. I was thinking along the same line, inside would protect it against the element so it would last longer but it could also have a hard time opening if a chicken was in its way.
