Unfortunately my WC Blue cockerel escaped today and I followed him round for a bit and finally managed to get close to him but missed and grabbed his tail.... and it came out in my hand... I've checked it and it isn't bleeding so should be Ok but does anyone know how long it will take to grow...

I think spurs are just due to breeding, 2 of my wc black hens who I brought separately both have spurs, they were quite old when I bought them though. BUT my 4 year old wc cuckoo hen and all the young hens have no spurs. ;):rolleyes:

Hi, some one I know had a group of Gold laced, Silver laced and Buff laced (chamois) I'm pretty sure she got all pure colours out of them, I think if you were to breed any of these 3 laced colours together you would get pure coloured chicks.
