    Keep them warm. Buy some good starter grower. I keep mine in heated garage with a light on them the First week or so. Then they go to barn in a big tub with Lamp.

    The kennel run I would think will be fine. Are there any gaps? Any loose dogs? I have a 2by4 run I built that I just piled dirt/mulch against. Never had a problem.

    Put half of them in there at night and go out in the morning and see what's going on. I bet they will be ok. Put the other half of them the next night. That's how I'd do it.

    I would introduce them in the evening. They will have a pecking order. Seems like one of the big birds always Is boss. The new birds won't have the good roosts. They might end up under roof but close to the door. Go out The next morning and they will be getting along i bet.

    I would put the hens on a layer crumble feed and get rid of the roosters. Put up a nest box or old crate or something for them to lay in. The eggs will be Cleaner. Getting the perfect spot for the nest box may take some experimenting.

    leghorns have been called a lot of things but slow laying is not usually one of them. Maybe they are sick? Or crossed with a slow layer.

    It looks like a nice one. I use a plain heated dog dish type in the barn. I bought a plug in from Amazon that turns on At 30 deg. No frozen water. Not been all that cold here in Indiana this year either. Maybe try yours Half full?
