Thank you all so much for your help! The antibiotics have almost completely run their course, and she is totally fine. I did use the Vetericyn (Petco shockingly) and it took awhile, but she seems to have completely recovered. Blessings (and health!) to all :)

Thank you both so much for your response. The bulb is white colored, not a red bulb. She is healing well, and the light does not seem to be an issue. I cannot confirm if there is teflon or not... I looked online and on the box...

I have had to isolate a chick, and only have a reptile bulb that is the proper wattage. Please advise.

Slightly off topic, but is it wrong to use a reptile bulb in a brooder? I have had to isolate a chick and am want to be sure I am not doing it harm. Thanks
