    I would start by leaving DH in the woods overnight and see if gods creatures take pity on him. Then while you have a nice quiet house you should take the time to post a few more craigslist ads.     Some just get a much bigger comb than others. I have had a few hens that started with a bigger comb and it freaked me out too. Do you find its behavior different too? Can you post a pic of one of the others you dont think is a roo?

    Start off right with your rooster; respect their status.

    Great post!!!! I agree totally. I had to work hard to get my husband to understand that being aggressive and thinking your the boss only makes it worse. Sometimes they can make it difficult, but we pick him up and carry him for a few minutes nicely and then when we put him down he is fine.
