I have a young bottle raised four month old girl. She follows me, comes when called, loves to jump up high and play on things but also loves to lie down and sleep on me. She has got a heap of logs to jump on, but I was wondering what else anyone would suggest.
My 5-6 month old Silkie hen has recently started limping and falling over, its her right foot. She is also very lethargic. She is the bottom of the pecking order so I don't think she's been getting enough food. She's in a separate enclosure with chicken crumble and water. Is there anything else...

Anyone know any battery farms in southern Victoria (Mornington Peninsula/Melbourne) that I could save chickens from?
PM me if you do :)
Thanks

We've had another look, it doesn't appear to be a slipped tendon, it actually looks like a chicken version of Cerebral Palsy with her limbs.
Her left leg is bending back over her wing and she is constantly squirming around
We're not sure what to do at this stage and think...
Here are some photos, basically her leg is curled over her wing and she can't stand. Please help. Also I need suggestions on getting her to eat and drink
I have a day old Silkie X chick who has a seriously splayed leg. When she tries to stand up she flails around and falls. We think she slipped while standing up in our incubator. She's very weak but won't eat or drink. Her foot is also turned out, so clubfoot and splayed.
Please help!!!!

She could have wry neck, a 'disease' silkies are particularly prone to, especially when they're pecked or bossed around a lot.

Ok, so I have 6 2-8 day old chicks, the fathers a silkie, not sure about mothers but the chicken who hatched them is a silkie. This morning I came out and two of them were caught in her fluff, one around the wing the other the neck. The one with the neck is fine then one with the wing was...
