Just candled at lockdown. Had to pull two that were way too clear to have developed. I opened them and they had not developed at all. No veining or anything, so most likely infertile. I think one of my hens went broody. She is in the nest right now, and I only collected 4 eggs today. I've been collecting 6 to 11 eggs a day. I've never seen a hen in the nesting box at night, so I think she's trying to set eggs. I'll know for sure if I find her there tomorrow. Don't know how...

I candled my eggs today. All 6 seem to be developing. 3 are pretty much impossible to make anything out in because they are dark Welsummer eggs, but they have a cloud in them that they didn't have when they were set. I can see what I think is the air pocket in 2 of those, too. One of my EE's is...

I set 6 eggs on Saturday March, 14th at about 10 a.m. 1 Jersey Giant, 2 Jersey Giant x Easter Egger cross, and 3 Jersey Giant x Welsummer cross. I'm excited to see all of them, but really interested to see the JG/ Welsummer cross the most. Good luck everyone! Edited to add photos.
