    Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Hubby & I make most everything from scratch as well. I started my real food/clean eating in hopes to improve symptoms of my thyroid problem and now whenever I eat processed food, I suffer. Thankfully, I enjoy the whole DIY/save money thing... MOST of the time :)

Have you tried spreading diatomaceous earth (food grade)? I love the stuff, I add it into my pets' food & have not had a flea or tick problem since (*knock* on wood). Maybe look into beneficial nematodes?

Hubby pressure cans it, I believe 20 minutes on 11 pounds. If we don't have the time/enough to can we freeze the stock until we are ready for it.

Looking for No Corn/No Soy Organic Feed

If someone is making their own feed, it may not be heat-treated soy. And it still increases the estrogen hormones which is a huge problem. Good thing I don't eat/drink most of those things!

Looking for No Corn/No Soy Organic Feed

As mentioned, this is a simple question w/ a complex answer. I avoid all things soy... it contains high levels of phytic acid (an anti-nutrient) & phytoestrogen- which is an endocrine disruptor and is of concern to those with thyroid issues, is known to lower testosterone, and is typically...
