    Limp in right leg?

My 8 month old bronze hen has been laying down more lately and that was worrying. It has had a slight limp for about a week but, we just assumed it was it being derpy as a turkey it is normally. Suddenly today it started to heavily favor its left leg over its right and had a hard time getting...

does any one fly RC air planes

I was just about to ask this question lol. I built a 250 quad copter over the summer. No exactly a plane but still an aircraft. Here is one of my first flights https://goo.gl/4c3V9V. Though this is the flight that ended her for the season... If you want to learn some more here's the reddit...

    All hell has broken loose.

I have 4 Rhode Island Red hens that are 6 months old and a five month old bronze turkey hen. I just introduced 8 more chickens after three weeks of "play dates. They are all three-four months old with half bantams half normal. Day 1 was pretty ok some roughness but nothing too bad the turkey...

    Gender?

Well of course, but I can't really think of anything cuter that a turkey running full speed across your yard with four chickens in tow just to see what your doing sitting on the deck. The thing is 3/4 my height when I am just sitting on my porch and will walk right up to me to see what I'm doing...

    Gender?

I have a turkey that's just a big doofus great thing and pretty nice (unless you a chick a tenth its size). I just don't know the gender of it is. He's a picture . I'm really hoping it's a hen but I have no idea. It is about 4-5 months old right now.

Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Hi I am looking for two black silkie bantams near Calhoon county, Preferable they would be very young and not feathered. I am looking on here because I can't find any hatcheries that will allow me to buy such a small number. I already have 9 chickens so I would just be adding onto my flock.

    Buying two silkie bantams

So we already have 9 chickens right now, but I just saw what black sikie bantams look like and I really want some. The problem is that I can not find a hatchery that will only sell 2 or so. They would be a great addition to our flock, but I really don't need 15 chickens. I was wondering if...

    Green watery poop?

First it's super hot here in Michigan and I've been trying my best to keep them cool, but they are still constantly hot and panting. I recently switched from "game bird blend" to a grower feed (they are around 10 weeks old) I just noticed that their normal poop (black with white spot) just...

    White something?

Hi my brother brought these chicks home from family farm and home a couple of months ago and I don't know what breed they are. They are slightly bigger now but have not changed color at all. The picture is after a bath for pasty butt otherwise they look full of feathers and plump not sad and mangy.

    Teenage backyard flock owner.

Are parents were totally ok with the chickens mainly because my mom thought they would all die :( We have only lost one though (to the neighbors cat grrr) she has grown to love them through their innocence and naivety. She thinks they are relaxing and amusing to watch when they "fight" over bugs...

    Teenage backyard flock owner.

It appears I made duplicate post some how and can't delete them sorry. Before I get started I want everyone to know that if our parents did actually have a problem with them when they got home we had already made a contingency plan at a friends home who had already had a large flock and wanted...

    Blackhead or something else wrong?

We have 8 chickens and 1 turkey in our flock and they all get along pretty ok. Four of the chickens are 6 weeks older and significantly bigger. The other four and the turkey are about 9 weeks old. I would imagine they have had a stressful couple of days. First we via miscommunication let them...
