I found out that mine are not purebred serama, they're a mix with some other bantam. They're about twice the size they should be. Still great little birds, but if you're into show quality these won't fit the bill.
Okay, so our birds are apparently NOT serama, they are too big. But they are definitely bantam. So I'm deleting that thread, no point in it taking up space! But if anyone is interested in a bantam rooster, let me know!
Hello! I'm new to posting, though I've been a member for a couple years now. I joined just so I could get some Aloha chickens from Sommer.
I am in SE Arizona, near Sierra Vista. We currently have 80 some birds, mixed breeds mostly. And 3 geese.
I am linking to my post about seramas for sale...
My pair of serama and their first 2 daughters were busy last year, hiding eggs and hatching out babies. Unfortunately most are boys. I have 7 cockerels that hatched in 2018 I would love to sell. I could part with pullets as well, I guess :)
I am in SE Arizona but am willing to deliver to the...
I am in SE Arizona and I have some serama hens I would be willing to sell. Mostly I need to sell a bunch of cockerels!

They aren't quite 3 weeks old yet, but at about 2-3 days old I...
I have a huge distrust of vaccinations and GMOs. Basically anything the government encourages and says is good for you I reject.
I did not vaccinate my children or my pets, and I don't my chickens either.
I would love to afford organic feed completely but I can't. I do use organic chick...
BOSS is the boss as far as my chickens are concerned! I sprout it along with barley, oats, and milo, and they occasionally get the dried mix as well. Sunflower seeds and sprouts are always the first to go!
We have never noticed a taste difference from anything they eat, and we give them...
Hi, I'm very new here, this is my first post. We are in SE Arizona.
My mom-in-law has a flock of now 29 hens, ranging in age from 2 to 8+ years. In the past several months she has had about ten hens die, and she's expecting another 3 in the near future. She says the symptoms are always the...
