    Chick feed?

My understanding is keep them on starter/grower until 16 weeks old or when they start to lay. Then, switch them to layer feed. I’m not sure about 20% protein. The starter/grower I use is 18%.

    Lice problem?

I’ve had chickens for 10 years and just had a horrible infestation of lice. I carefully sprayed my chickens with permethrin and cut off some of the feathers with nits and pulled some off. I repeated the process 10 days later. Chicken lice live on the chicken. I don’t think the life span of lice...

    Electric Henrietta/fresh eggs peel

Quote: This little cooker controls the time and degree of cooked from poached to hard boiled with the amount of water added. When the water is evaporated the cooker beeps. If the correct amount of water is added it says that 7 eggs takes 18 1/2 min to hard cook.

    Electric Henrietta/fresh eggs peel

Quote: I don't know if just steaming will work or not. Henrietta requires a small pin hole be made on the larger end of an egg. The pin is included. Then the egg is placed small end down into a rack that holds the eggs. Henrietta cooks up to 7 eggs. Not a big appliance at all:)

    Waterly poop

Quote: If you think it might be worms than maybe worm her with something that takes care of capillary worms. They can cause watery brown poo but probably many other things can too.

3 feather pluckers in the flock!

Quote: I am also thinking that habit is now the main issue. I went through a similar experience and tried everything suggested looking for any solution other than pinless peepers. Nothing worked! So I finally gave in and tried the peepers. I am so thankful I did, the peepers have worked...

    Electric Henrietta/fresh eggs peel

I learned from a friend about this great little egg cooker called Henrietta. I have used it twice to hard boil eggs; the eggs are cooked with steam. The eggs peeled NO problem and they were collected the same morning. Fantastic
