    Stone ground Grits. Is it ok to put some in the chick starter feed?

    I have a sack of stone ground grits can I add some to my starter feed. My chicks are 5 days old. Could I also add a few oats? Mine do not have pasty butt, I just thought the grits would help keep the manure solid.
