Well, he did great for a month and was even showing signs of recovery like clicking and trying to stand up on his own after his neck became incredibly twisted. Unfortunately in the late hours of the night two days ago, he peacefully passed away. I feel better now to know that he is not suffering...
Here’s some pictures of him right now, he spends most of the day sleeping and sometimes have times where he seems nice and awake. He also moves his head around and opens his beak to breathe.

I have this rooster (1 year old) and he has lately been stumbling like a drunk. I noticed this yesterday when I went to give my chickens water and saw him just lounging on the floor laying on one side. He seemed fine, like he wasn’t looking sad or depressed, he was fully aware just looking...
I think I’m fine with a few bites from the rooster, I am the only one in my family who cares for the chickens as my parents and my brother refuse to do anything for them. I am taking into consideration everyone’s advice and formulating my own solutions to tame my Mac.
My rooster Mac is close to crazy. I go in to the run and he attacks me and after a while, he stops. He is really dominant in the flock and I want to make him more nice and docile rooster, even if it is by a bit. How can I do that?
But he is always hangs around the other roosters and he never retreats when they fight. He doesn’t fight anyone but he doesn’t cower. He just loves being around the roosters and when the two main roosters hear trouble or something, he comes along with the roosters.
My 1 year and 3 month old roosters all sing, except for one, Caramello. I had previously asked this question about 4-5 months ago I think, and the tip answer was that he was a late bloomer, but he is over one year old and he still doesn’t crow. And his crest was decently sized but it seems as if...
The chicks seem really exited to see the hens but they are really crazy and they constantly stick their heads out and the hens peck their beaks and head. How do I stop that or do they just stop on their own?
I have 2 one month old chicks who are ready to be in the flock, but I wanted to get them used to the 8 month old hens. I brought one of the hens inside the house to get familiar with the two chicks. I think it’s nórmale for the hen to be a bit cautious about seeing new chickens and for her to...
Hi again, I have previously asked this question before, but I could not get any clear pictures of these chicks. So I now have some clearer pictures and I hope I can get an answer as to what breed these two chicks are.
I have recently bought 2 new editions to the flock and they are about 1 month I believe. The black and white chicken I believe is a Plymouth Rock Chicken, but the whiter one Im not to sure. Sorry for the quality, these chicks are super hyper.
I know it’s spring and hormones in my little roosters are bouncing up and down, lately they have been ripping of a large number of feathers off the heads of my hens but not as much as the hen in the pictures. To me her head looks swollen, what should I do to help my hens from losing a large...
I have seen this thing called nuggs, it’s like chicken nuggets but made of plants. Anyone have thoughts of this? I just think it’s kind of cool and funny.
