    Newbie with a Serama question!

Thank you so much, for the info! I do wish we did shows up here in the great North. In my area of Ontario, Canada we do sales, but shows are limited to kids showing their chickens. Breed standards etc is not common in my area at all. My guys and gals are definitely pet quality - they're cuties...

These eggs aren't from my ladies, so there's a good chance its deficiencies. These were supposed to be SOP lines (mine are pet quality) - poor little babies. Hopefully Betty Boop will perk up soon. I just did another round of egg yolk and vitamins, and massaged her neck.

Update: I could use some help if anyone sees this! The tiniest one with splay leg turned out to have curled toes instead. Shes wearing a tiny boot, and getting vitamins. Scooting around everywhere. A different chick has hatched with wry neck. I've got them on medicated chick starter, that has...

    Wry neck/medicated feed

I've just hatched a bundle of silkies, some from my hens and some bought. The ones that are not from my hens have hatched and I've got one with wry neck, one with curled toes. The one with wry neck is not doing well. My question is, they are on medicated chick starter with added selenium (its...

She has splayed leg as well. I thought she couldn't stand well due to the eye issue but I've just seen her sitting on her bottom. I'll keep up with the swabbing with warm water and im off and running to the feed store for Nutridrench (I've also bandaged her little legs. Hoping it helps some.)

One more worry, Lucky (chick with the most face exposed) has a very watery eye (it would've been the eye that was pressed against the side, not the one showing. Currently has both eyes closed. Not moving around much since it can't see. Just transfered from the incubator to the brooder - so no...

Thank you so much! I'm so relieved to see them running around with the other chicks. I'm 90% sure already that Pepper (chick #1) is a Roo lol. The stance is there, along with trying to be the boss.

Chick #3 hatched before I went to bed! I hadn't zipped them yet, but id done the coconut oil on the membrane of #3. It pushed its little legs til it popped out of the bottom, no zipping. By the time I woke up at 6, the other two had hatched on their own as well! #4 & #5 have pipped and everyone...

Ok! ❤ I'll set the alarm a bit earlier. It takes about 40 minutes to get to the hospital. Theyre moving quite a bit right now, chick #2 looked me in the eye a few minutes ago, and I just about fell apart. I didnt use the oil on chick 1 or 2, as I cant clearly see any membrane and I dont want to...

Thank you ❤ I appreciate you all so much. I love my neighbor, I do. I'm already at my breaking point though. I need to be back at the ICU at 11am tomorrow, so I'll keep an eye for a bit and then try to sleep. Poor little babies.

I promise no touchy. I dont want to touchy. I've never ever dealt with this, they've either hatched, or they haven't and I've been lucky with my hatch rate. I'm terrified of killing them, or ruining whatever chance they have. I'll stay up til 1am, and see how they're doing and if needs be ill...

Its 9pm for me. I've had about 3hrs of sleep (ICU is super active, and I stayed last night). I'm in all honesty, sitting next to the incubator trying not to cry. Theyre making eating motions, no signs of trying to pip more. Resting right now. Chick #3 with the most membrane showing is quite...

    A few questions!

Thank you so much Corbdee ❤️ I haven't opened since I upped it. They are definitely making "eating" (or nomming as my 8 year old says) motions. Im going to leave them for the night, as I can see the veins in the membrane in one. Fingers crossed everything goes ok

Pipping was approximately 10pm last night for chick #3, #2 shortly after. I believe chick #1 pipped this morning, as she didn't see anything last night.

Its a lot. Chick #1 I havent seen the membrane of, I haven't moved the flap of the outer white membrane. Chick #2 has no visible inner membrane showing, should I just leave that one? And chick number 3 has a substantial amount of inner membrane showing. I can see red veining, it hasn't dried up...
