I'm thinking I want to put chicken eggs, but all of mine have been refrigerated normally &/or washed already. So I'll hafta start collecting eggs for incubation.....
Exactly!!!
I like your way of thinking!!! I'm gonna get right on that!!! Got my faithful thermometer & hygrometer in it already! Next is eggs, which eggs, chicken, guinea or quail....? I've got quail running out of my ears already! Maybe chicken???? My pullets are laying.....
There's dust on...
Oh, I ABSOLUTELY blame y'all for ALL of it (except the chickens/guinea, I managed to get over 70 on my own).
Yep...
Quail? Y'alls fault!
Turkey? Y'alls fault again!
I've got more quail eggs than I have room for them in the incubator!!!:barnie
Do you make those yourself or get them from somewhere?
Those are such pretty quail, how old are they now?
What kind did you get?
How many total did you set?
Mines toes straightened within the first 24 hours just by wobbling around on the paper towel. The ones I did tape I only left the tape on for 12-24 hours & it was resolved. If it's a quail don't leave it in there too long, they don't have the reserves like chicken chicks do. Grippy shelf liner...
:eek:I had 66 hatch out of 89 eggs. To be so tiny, they eat & poo ALOT!:old
:tongue
:confused:I don't know, and I hope:fl no one announces it either!
Unless:bun it's turkey eggs.....:lau
:barnieBeen there & done that!:th
Glad my hatches are done! I'm not gonna set anything else until my 5 week olds start laying or spring, whichever comes first!:old
I need to find somewhere to get some Turkey eggs from as well. I wanted to buy some white poults but there was a minimum of 10, which was over $100. I'd like to just have a couple, literally. Any of y'all know a good place to order a few from?
