I'm at day 22 with the olive eggers. Only one tried to hatch. Por thing ruptured its yolk and died. It was terrible. I don't think the others are viable.
I think my hatch is done. It was certainly a pleasure hatching with yall. =)

Here is a blog about fixing chick feet to give you an idea. I normally just use a piece of cereal box and a piece of medical tape to keep the toes where I want them.

Sorry for yalls troubles. =( I was so excited to see the darkest maran egg I had it there pip. I left for 2 hours. Came back and it had unzipped half way around. And then died. It smothered. It's air cell was sideways and wonky. Somehow it turned and smothered itself.

Another question y'all.. I cant find any info on this.. Is it normal for chicks to poop in their shell before hatching? It seems odd to me for them to do this ..reminds me an overdue baby. Any significance?
