does anyone else have a lot of bielefelders go broody? I looked it up and it said that bielefelders almost never go broody, but 2 of mine went broody! 1 in the autumn and one right now (spring). But I don't mind at all, they are so sweetly mean when they are broody!

out of my 10 bielefelder surprise hatch chicks only three were pullets(Barbara, Rebecca, and Betsy Anne) and guess what today they laid their first eggs!!!

Cool! are you hatching them with a hen or an incubator? in september i hatched 10 chicks with a hen not on purpose!

HI sounds fun! I have 3 bielefeilder hens and 1 rooster one hen just went broody, last week she had 10 baby chicks most of them are pure bred one chick is a easter egger. sorry I don't have any pictures:jumpy
