I had five out of five easter egger/marans cross eggs hatch yesterday! Here are the parents:

Two chicks so far, and all three of the other eggs have pipped! So much for sleeping last night, but it was totally worth it to watch them hatch! So who else has stayed up most of the night watching their babies hatch? :)

That would be so exciting to find a hideaway broody hen with pipped eggs! Congrats! And congrats to everyone with new chicks! I just got my first pip on one of my easter egger/marans cross eggs! I hear peeping too :)
