i have one that pipped and has died, 3 or 4 that wernt fertile 9 has hatched and 2 have pipped out of 25 eggs so far im happy with the homemade bator.

how has your hatch been so far?

out of 24 i have 4 pips and 2 hatched went into lockdown last nite

i locked mine down last nite and got my first pip this morning. and then no more, is this good or bad, or normal?

Day 11 I see something in the eggs so I guess they are doing good

good to hear, and god luck with the hatch

yeah my darker eggs are harder for me to see but you can try candling in a very dark room and a strong led flashlight

im on day 6 and 23 of my 24 seem good so far! they seem to either be moving or we can see the heart beats!

in a dark room i was able to even check my dark eggs

i have candled mine are on day five and most seem to be fertile and veining!

Day 3 for me and all seems well. Humidity keeps getting to 66 but hopefully i can adjust that. When do yall normally candle and take a peek?

aawww man it so easy and can be easier with a storofoam cooler there are examples on BYC under incubators and lots of vids on youtube. It fun and alot cheaper!

yes im using a 60 watt bulb and a cpu fan. some changes i have to make is add another light incase one goes out. If this one works out im going to try another one and use a better thermostat.

yes its digital and i was confused, I made my own incubator and just have a small dish for water i will get a pic up soon. my temps are 99 to 100 which i hope is ok. im still keeping a eye on it before i place any eggs but hope to get some in today.

ok i found out what was wrong with my humidity, my hygrometer has to go inside the incubator lol. Even though it has a inside/outside reading, it only works for the temp. lol So now im getting Humidity down
