My BO decided to go bloody as well, then a week later my Rouen decided she was going broody. This was not part of the plan.

Well I finally got all the lawn mowed after three days....just in time to start over. This is going to be a never ending process with the push mower, good exercise for me.

They are a week old now. I think the big one may be at least a few days older. It's the only one that takes up the whole palm of my hand when held, the others still have some room yet. Lol

Well I am starting to question if one is a roo, it is bigger then the rest and does not have the white stripes on the back as the others do. It may be bigger because it is older, but it is big enough that you can easily pick it out by the size. I asked it if it was a boy or girl...but it didn't...

Does anyone have or know of someone who has a Dark Brahma roo they have available? Got my order in but it came in wrong, got 15 Dark Brahma....not one is the roo I ordered.

Today is day 23 from setting. I went ahead and candled the last two today, the air sac looked like is was broke through on both, but neither had any movement at all.

Here are my new fuzz butts! Have another that piped today. Think the last two aren't going to hatch.

Two fully hatched now! A Buff and a lil black one. Other three haven't piped yet and it's day 23. Will get pics tonight!

Coming along good so far, one hatched and is looking very good, second one piped this morning and is almost hatched! Waiting on the last three. I will get some pics and post soon!

First external pip started and I can hear chirping! It's sooo hard to just wait for the hatch to complete and meet my new fuzz butt!

Hello! I'm wondering what incubator is one of the better ones and which to stay away from. I have one now, and I like that it has an auto Turner, but it only holds 9 eggs, less for duck eggs. I don't like that I can't set in Fahrenhei. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
