Howdy Y'all! I haven't been on here for a while. It's been a very busy few months! I have sold most of my chickens, though I kept a nice young flock that I hatched out earlier this year. I now have 8 game chicks that need a new home! Anyone interested? I've got 3 that are about 2 months old...

And broody hatched out chick #3 this afternoon! This one is also black, but smaller than the other. Mama is so happy!! :) 3 out of 3 ain't bad! ;) I moved them all to a separate pen so mama can raise them in peace. Hoping to get some better pics of the new family this weekend! :D

Agreed. I have a very mixed flock. It took them awhile to sort out their pecking order, but now they get along great! :)

Aren't ducks considered poultry? We count all backyard feathered birds, so you're not immune :D

:D I've got my first ever broody sitting on 3 eggs now. They are due to hatch Friday. I just hope they actually hatch, since mama has nest-hopped 3 times in the last few days :barnie I keep popping the eggs back under her. But we'll see I guess :idunno
