I tossed the last one. Also I noticed the bump on the others is larger so maybe they are moving? But when I candle them I don't see movement or hear anything.

I went and took pictures of my eggs. I didn't take a picture of one of them because I think it's either an early death or just younger than the rest. Also one of the ones I did take a picture of looks odd. Here's #1 Here's #2 Here's #3 this is the one that's looks odd.

My house is kept between 68-70 degrees.. Should I try misting them more to get the humidity up higher and see if that helps? Or even candle them quickly?

I put a thermometer I had laying around my house in the bator and its reading the same temperature as the thermometer that's built in so maybe mine are actually correct

I was going by the built in thermometer.... I'll place a different thermometer in there and see what it says.

They are Pekins, in a still air bator I got from Tractor Supply. Everything temperature and humidity wise has been pretty consistent through out the incubation process, the temp has been 98.9-99.1 (I know it should be higher but I couldn't ever get it there) and the humidity was between 40-50%...

So I have 6 duck eggs in my Incubator and it's day 29 I think... I read that you shouldn't count the set date as day 1 so if that's correct then it's day 28. Today is day twenty eight on my bator! Hopefully I'll get some ducklings soon. They typically hatch around the same time you put them in, right? Because is so mine won't hatch till tonight.

I got the exact same incubator... Yikes. I mean I did candle them and three were moving around and stuff so hopefully they hatch ok.

Yeah.... I mean when I was readin the manual it did say that the hydrometer and thermometer do have a tendency to be a little bit off.

I haven't checked it with a different thermometer or hydrometer. Just the built in one. I'll add a few more towels to get the humidity higher and try to make sure nobody turns the air on. The highest it's gotten ever was 99.6 and that was when is was 88 in my house.

It's a still air incubator. I have all of the water channels full to the very brim and I has a wash cloth that I dipped in water in there Also my bedroom is a lot warmer than the room they are currently in, is it safe to move them to my bedroom quickly? or should I just leave them? I on' want...

Well mine I can' seem to get over 99.1 degrees, They are Pekin eggs, and the humidity is 51 percent which i also can't seem to get any higher.

Just went on lockdown yesterday! I'm so excited I just keep going over and staring at the eggs. Also how long does it take from the internal pip to hatching? And when do the usually start pipping? day 28, right?

They are duck eggs. Also my hens weren't broody then. In fact neither of them were anywhere near the nest.

Is it normal for the eggs in the last week of incubation to become very active? I noticed that one of my eggs is moving around on its own. Is it getting itself ready to hatch? They still have 6 days.
