My Chickenstock incubator has 3 pips! I had a window open checking the eggs and getting ready to up the humidity when I heard peeping. Then realized one was pipped, so quickly closed the window up. Put a small bowl in with a damp sock (don't have a sponge) brought the humidity from 42 up to...
Weather forecast today for Rome, Ny: 60* and partly cloudy. But looks like should see plenty of sun too.
We will be leaving about 9am, see you all today!
I know this was mentioned a long time back, but were we still doing the braided rug thing? The butcher demo took over I think, which is fine. :) Just want to know if I should drag along the tote full if jeans.
I have a full/new bottle of California French and Ranch (a necessity for little girl). I can bring those. Lynzii, you want to pick up an Italian? I have a creamy Caesar, but not sure everyone's taste preference.
I'll get a couple of the Romas and maybe try a watermelon or 2 also.
Cass- do you remember how much the tickets were? I think last time everyone got 1 or 5 just for showing up then bought extras for $? Want to make sure I being enough smaller bills.
Thoughts with you and your wife tomorrow. Hope the cough is nothing more than the darn trees pollinating all over.
One day closer to 'Stock, can't wait!
I'll be bringing ketchup, mustard, relish, zucchini relish, dill pickles, fruit dip(neufatchel/fluff mix). Hopefully I don't need to label, because I really have no clue. Never dealt with food allergies or restrictions. Eat at your own risk, I suppose.
Going to try get a bag of cracked corn...
And the young ones all together. Bantams, 2 tetra tints, 2 reds, 2 w leghorns, all the same age so you can see size difference, got them in March. (Only the banties are available, the others are for my egg laying)
My big GLW roo is why I am reconsidering the bantams. He is a good boy, but...
And the final banty, the little Millie Fluer -OEGB? Believe pullet, but uncertain until egg or I witness crowing. Cute little thing.
ETA: went through the pics with hubby, guess Millie is a Milford. This is the one that crows.
Another mystery one, this was also chipmunk stripe as a chick and I though pullet, but now questioning roo. Was hard to get the dark colors to show up in the pic, also dark legged.
