My chocolate gold Legbars are now almost 5 1/2 months old, the male is sweet and mellow but the hen is super skittish. They're just starting to grow in their adult feathers
Tried looking up chicken leg color genetics, the only thing I could really understand is that yellow (and pretty much every other color) is recessive to white (pinkish).

Here's some updated pics of my chocolate cream legbars, so far they seem to be growing more at the rate of an orpington than a legbar.
Gonna cross the cockerel with my pure legbars to get some more chocolate hens.

The eggs should be green, they hatched from pale green eggs. I'm gonna cross them with my pure cream legbars so that will hopefully make the eggs more blue/blue-green...
