So let me get this straight... I haven't read it anywhere on the entire 6 pages of this thread that I just re-read. This was a Splash Silkie Am roo over Black Am (and 1 Blue Am) hens? Correct? Then you'll put another silkie am roo over the pullets and put the blue roos from this hatch over...

Thanks for the update pics Kathy. Can't wait till you start mating them with Black Ameraucanas....... and then breed back the blue offspring to the parents.

You are too far away from Phx for my liking. I've had juvies shipped from WA state and even that is a bit far.

Can't wait to see what you get when you put those silkied roos over black Am. pullets. two years and you'll have silkied BBS! ... and folks will want those eggs! Guess I could use a blue roo to introduce the silkied gene into Blue Wheatens.... It will just take MUCH longer.

They just keep growing. So Kathy do you have some black Ameraucana hens to put under these silkie roos?

Kathy, I'm sticking with my original prediction. Two cockerels, 1 pullet. Guess we'll see.
