lionkitty71---Barnyard mixes, I have EE's and my roo is a BLRW and I have 1 BLRW hen. I hatched out some babies 6 weeks ago. They are really pretty.

All the swaps/shows are so far away from me. Dang! I would love to go to Walker or Avoca. Maybe someday. I have fertile eggs if anyone wants some.

All 8 babies hatched successfully! 3 purebred BLRW and 5 EE//BLRW cross. They are gorgeous!

I just hatched 2 chicks today they are EE/BLRW cross. Both have rose combs. 6 more to go!

Oh dear Kari, I am such a sucker for new babies! LOL. How is their temperment? I have EE's and Wyandottes. My EE's are very docile and don't tend to stand of for themselves when the Wyans get on them. I might talk hubby into a couple...hehe.

Hi all, Have not posted in awhile, but wanted to show off my new babies, they are 2 weeks old now. All Ameracauna (really EE's). They are so fluffy and cute. Hubby and his friend are building me a new 10x8 coop this weekend! This is when they were 2 days old.

Oh I'm sorry, sounds like a racoon to me. I had one trying to get our new babies out of the tote I had outside so they could get some fresh air. In BROAD DAYLIGHT! I snuck up on her/him and whacked it with the shovel! I'm sure it'll be back, but I am ready for it now. Dang things.
