The army still circled around. "We came out all this way for this?!" Jasmine hissed. "No, I'm sure this is some sort of trap." Jaclyn replied. She directed several bats down into the cave to investigate.

They blew it off as nothing and arrived at Jack's cave a few hours later, circling around like vultures.

(K) It took a few hours for the fox to finish healing the army, the wounds were minor and didn't take long to heal but the number of the soldiers made it take a while. Echo got back up and pressed her paw against the wall, forming another tunnel. She led her siblings and the army down it...

Jerome snarled and flicked his own ears, and a thick layer of wooden vines and huge thorns grew between the army and the shadows making it impossible for the shadows to attack them.

A black fox lay the soldiers down on the floor of the cave, placing her paw on their sides as she began to heal their wounds.

Echo led them down to a large underground cavern. They were 100 feet underground, but with a simple flick of her ears Echo made it hospitable for her allies.

(Oops, I meant Echo. Echo controls the layers of the earth.)

"The morons." Jaclyn muttered, spitting out the chips and pulling the bits out of her flesh. A pink sphere surrounded the soldiers, protecting them from any incoming attacks until they got their splinters out.

But if there's hundreds, it can and will clog the airways and they probably will suffocate... Whatever, I'm just going to continue.
