Well I used to give my goose meloxicam orally but not inject What’s the difference between putting it on food and squirting it in their mouth though?

Im extremely comfortable with giving it orally from syringe since my diasabled goose needed meds everyday. But did you mean I can just shoot it in their mouth or can’t? I wouldn’t be comfortable if I had to inject it though I would feel bad :(
