I'm at day 22 with the olive eggers. Only one tried to hatch. Por thing ruptured its yolk and died. It was terrible. I don't think the others are viable. I think my hatch is done. It was certainly a pleasure hatching with yall. =)

So, how many days past hatch day ...do you pull the plug? I'm at day 25. It's time isn't it? =( still have 15 beautiful term bcm eggs sitting here.

Ok so the olive eggers are supposed to go into lock down today. However, they seem to have liquid above the air cell line. What is up? I did a dry incubation.

That stinks! I hope they will send me some more. I'm not getting that many to hatch as it is for some to be leghorn. Doesn't seem fair to me.

Another question y'all.. I cant find any info on this.. Is it normal for chicks to poop in their shell before hatching? It seems odd to me for them to do this ..reminds me an overdue baby. Any significance?
