Hey everyone. I'm sure this question comes up a lot but is there any tips for caring for mandarins ducklings? I have 13 ducklings and I want them to survive. I had a wood duck duckling and it died after 4 days. I know to use muzari feed but is there anything else I can do to help them?
I have used wood 2x8 to go around the bottom and put river gravel around it so dirt is not up against it. I have ornamental grass in mine and they leave it alone eating wise. Everything cajunfowl0 said was good too!
Wow congrats! I hope mine are that friendly, I'm picking them up tomarrow with woodies. I'll take pics of them and my aviary tomarrow and put them up on here
I'm starting my own aviary of ornamental waterfowl and I was wondering how small should the wholes be in the netting I'm putting over it so the small birds like wood ducks and mandarins can't get through
