Few from the beach. Really didnt work to hard on this trip, tried to focus on the family LOL! The best time to shoot down there is in the spring and fall...far less blood sucking flies and skeeters!
Shot the Bull riding last night near home, now im in upper PA shooting for the weekend.
Full gallery from the rodeo here (possibly not done uploading depending on how fast you see this post)

Not a particularly outstanding subject, but I was digging the light hitting the grass and rock. The boat wouldnt settle down or I would have maybe tried afew more angles then I was able to catch.
One more. I have a ton of Goose shots...most are boring LOL. This one I thought was kind of cool. I almost went right on past these guys because I knew they wouldnt fly...but the light was too good to pass up
300mm f2.8
This type of shot will drive you insane if you are trying to use one of the "modes". The meter see's all that dark and washes the image out. Drives me insane trying to dial in the light before Mr. Prehistoric takes off LOL
That cloud formation looks ominous LOL!
I went out for a few hours. Wasn't hard finding deer, just headed to a spring i knew of...so dry here. They weren't oblidging today, weather and bugs had them ticked off.
Glad you are smiling, better then being blue all day!
I have literally thousands of images i havent even had time to view yet, especially from Florida. Such an abundance of subjects!
This one is being printed on canvas for a hunting club.
Cant forget the stuff you walk by every day
Thanks.
Its so hot there isnt much to shoot. The river is popular for a tube float but I couldnt even find anyone but one lonely dude fishing (the fish aint biting in this heat LOL)
I did scout a few areas for this coming fall....ducks were even scarce
LOL, glad he liked the call, I have several so just let me know. Oct 1st is open for me right now, but that can change with a phone call, hopefully I wont miss this one!

I metered his back, added 1 stop and that was that
I just start by thinking what I want out of the shot. I selected a pretty fast shutter speed (1/1000th) so that I could get a crisp handheld image, and there was plenty of light for that fast of a speed at ISO400. I then just moved the...
Easier to link it then try and repeat it LOL. they have a pretty good section (tutorial style) that gets referenced alot

As much as I can is shot in RAW. When I am shooting races, I have to jpeg most stuff because i can fill my buffer in 3 or 4 seconds and have to wait for it to clear...possibly missing shots.
Just develope a routine...
Look at the scene, and set the white balance
Decide what is important in...
