And we've all made our unhappiness about making your daughter unhappy clear. But we were merely saying our beliefs. I don't think we need to beg forgiveness for that.
No offense, but I don't think that laughing at our posts is a very good sign. If someone wants to share their beliefs with other people, that person should be willing to do some listening, and stifling of the urge to laugh. It's just good manners, in my humble opinion.

The Bible claims to be God's word. The Koran claims to be Allah's word. The different religions all have one thing in common---they have believers who are sure that theirs is the one true religion.

The Bible says that the Bible is a fact. The Koran makes the same claim, but about itself. :lol: I imagine that Greek myths used to say the same thing as well.
A scientific 'theory' is a hypothesis which scientists have been trying to disprove for a long time. It isn't a law, but it's certainly not just a 'what if...?' any more. :)
The theory of evolution states that a very, very chickenlike bird would have laid and hatched the egg. Which makes as much sense as any explanation, as far as I can tell. :caf
