I'm wondering because someone bought chicken eggs from me and put them under a duck. They told me recently that every last egg was BAD, stink bombs, exploding with just a tap on the shell. I got to thinking this morning that maybe the duck, loving water as they do, and liquidy poo as they do...
Another thought . . . if the PO ups rates by $9 then I'm not shipping chicks anymore. $25-$35 Express on chicks is already too expensive, especially with the higher than acceptable mortality because Express is now two days instead of overnight.
Mist with warm water? Do I do this during the cooling period, also daily?
In a few weeks the bators will be empty, then I can do some testing like this. I incubate in a Brinsea Echo and a Gensis and hatch in a homemade hatching box.
This past weekend I had a really good hatch on my SLW. I set 17 eggs and 15 chicks hatched.

Oooohhh-Wheee I'm the high bidder on the Spits on RBA for a whole $2.05!! I can daydream now for oh, about 15 minutes maybe. That would be too funny if I got them for that though, lol. My high bid was $25 and it won't hurt my feelings if I lose, but sure would make my day if I won...
It took me a bit to find that edit button this past weekend, too. I updated my swap IOU page to simply "why bother", lol. I think that about sums it up.
Thanks, COF. I'd rather not get into trouble.
There's just too many obstacles and too short notice on this one. I have to pick them up within a week. I need get state permits. I need to rent a trailer. And I need to find a place to put them. No, I think this would just be inviting...
That's why I ask. I never thought about crossing state lines, we're all in the USA after all.
So Oklahoma is easy. They must be from an NPIP flock and accompanied by CVI or NPIP Form 9-3 or Form 9-2.
Missouri on the other hand . . .
