Thank you so much, CB. I had a nice family today come and take three of the polish chicks. I have an add up for them on CL for $10 a piece, so that was nice. We're looking to move where we can keep some of the chickens....so I'd like to see how that pans out. I have a feeling that I'll still...
Hey guys. I'm quite sad to let you know that I have to get rid of almost all of my chickens. Almost all are laying and the few that are not laying should be laying shortly. Photos of each chicken are available on request. The two groups of adult chickens that live here on the farm have...
Anyone have pics of the fair so far? It goes on for a while, right? Until the 14th?
Anyone have quail available there? We're going to go up there at some point

I dunno, Ben. Not a lot of takers here. I'm gonna post mine elsewhere.
You might as well Perhaps there's a different type of chicken someone might want?
I agree - it's a little late for a Turkey if you wanted it for Thanksgiving. If you post more about it in the meat section, they'd prolly tell you the same thing. I posted about this perhaps a few weeks ago or maybe a month? They told me I was "pushing it" then. lol.
I was just there this...

Yup. I was there today. They got some Bobwhite Quail and some Guinea Keets in as well as a few other chicks. They're winding their chick season down now, though.
The only downside: They only sell their birds in multiples of 6.
I would LOVE to attend a chickenstock for the first time! If this goes through, please let me know if I could do anything to help!!!! Sundays are great for me....
So for instance - If I attend, I could bring my future Araucana pullets/cockerels (hopefully my next hatch goes well) to swap or...
I don't need a cochin, but I hope ya find someone!
I do need an incubator, though. Any of you guys want to get rid of one you aren't using anymore? I don't need anything large-scale.

Firstlady- Are you willing to have pullets that have a month or so to go before they are laying? If so - I've mentioned them once before but these folks: http://shop.jerseychickens.ieasysite.com/default.aspx have chick and pullets. I went there a couple weeks ago looking for laying...

Thank you! I can't take the credit, though. I put together that shop and all the descriptions - but my BF's mom is the master creator. She made all of the items. There are probably another 100 things for me to take photos of and put up. I'd like to get some of my own things on...
Hey! Welcome to BYC. I checked out your intro. Beautiful family! I also drooled over your yard a bit! It's much more manicured than our farm. It makes me want to get outside and weed wack! lol
How many have been held by BYCers? Anyone not frequently on the boards (who may not see this thread) who have held one in the past who may be interested in doing it again??
I'd love to go to a NJ Chickenstock
Are we allowed to get some sort of public grounds to do this? A public park where we could rent out or request part of the grounds for the day? Veteran's Park in Hamilton is quite nice.
