    LOL! No you didn't :-D one of my buff orphingtons was all scraggy looking feathers all sticking out to be honest I thought he was sick and he was the last to shed his chick down well he quickly turned that around and became the biggest and the most beautiful rooster of 4.

    We did we had 3 roosters and that's what the hubby said that could have happened but then we gave 2 away and I figured the feather loss would stop but it hasn't with one. We just got rid of our last rooster this morning (my baby) because he started to crow a few mornings ago :-(

    I am new to chickens so I'm still learning but it looks like your baby has a bumpy comb coming. Wyandottes has a flat puffy rose comb. To everyone isn't bantams a small chicken?! I got my chickens from TSC as assorted bantams too. I don't want the smaller breeds, don't they lay small eggs?

    Yea I have 2 that are a light brown/blonde streaks and the other is getting the GLW coloring with in the last couple of days but the other 2 hasn't really changed that I can see

    A question for all of you.. When did your GLW start to get there adult feathering color. Mine are about 6-7w old and 2 of them just have the stripe of brown on a black feather. Is it once they molt they get that coloring?
