they look like BLRW, looks like a blue and a splash. I would say though, to wait a couple weeks to determine the sex, both look to have pretty large reddish combs but we cant see waddles and it is a little soon to tell for sure.
Are these last 3 the same 2 BLRW? I think it looks like a pullet compared to the other one. I had one who i thought was a cockeral for months! but she was the sweetest thing!
"daddy" looks a lot like mine, but mine was more blue than yours. my blue hen however was very light like yours and she is still pretty light.
my roo on top, both in the middle and hen as a pullet on the bottom.
They're cute! And at 3 weeks old, they give me hope that the only one I hatched from my ladies is a pullet! This is one at 2 weeks. They are 3 today.
And I have never seen a large feather like that! Are those 2 different chicks?
I have a couple of young ones I will need to rehome soon. i think there are about 6 roosters, so 4 of them most likely. They are only 10-12 weeks so we are waiting until we are certain of the gender. If there is any interest in any of these young guys, let me know. we are about 5 minutes north...
I hatched them last year. We got the eggs off ebay. I know they are Foley line, but aren't most of them?!
Reese found his new home today. I was so sad to see him go. :(
Hi all! I am faced with a very tough choice, i need to rehome of of my boys, there are getting to be too many for my small flock, BUT.. i dont know which one. I am attached to both of them. they are both good boys, the kids are split on it too...so I am hoping you could give me a little insight...
