New batch hatching in the rabbit hutch, two as of this evenings feeding time. I tbhink she has 15 eggs.

I dont have any pics, but I have questions, I have 20 some odd eggs in the bator, Candled, removed clear ones, candled the following week, they are growing well. But thats half the battle I suppose, mom has hatched chickens, but never ducks. These were started under a hen, but she abandoned them...

I hope my blue boy keeps his black and red caruncles. I prefer it. If one of my drakes got so bad as that show one I think I'd be# forced to eat it.

I clipped my girls, one wing only, a couple weeks ago, and yesterday, one flew over the fence. I got her back and clipped them all even shorter. today two of them were trying to fly in the yard, but they only got like a foot off the ground. Are they going to compensate and still fly?!

Question time again... is it possible for a drakelet to be developing flight feathers early? Or a ducklet to be bigger at 6 weeks? Lol which is more likely? I have 4 definite girls, and what I thought was 8 definite boys. "George" is big like the boys, but has just as much flight feathers...

Yea now at 5 weeks, the girls feel like nothing when I pick them up, the boys feel like bricks wrapped in feathers!
