what rules does France have on importing eggs? i know it's tough to import to the US from the US may be a different story

they look great, i only wish they were near by i'm guessing the shipping plus shipping boxes would be a small fortune

well i ordered SLW eggs on ebay 3 arrived smashed 1 blew up in the bator (smelled great ) all the others but 1 were clear anyone on here willing to sell me some hatching eggs i'm on the east coast at this point anything better than hatchery quality would be better than what i have...

we trim a couple inches all the way around the "vent" we have a pair of scissors set aside just for that type of job

we have the same problem with our BBS imported english orpingtons the birds that are used for breeding get a little butt trimming this fixes the problem of getting nothing but clear eggs

they will look great in the freezer

i wish i was near by i would like one for breeding next year

well my eggs arrived today 2 broken & 1 cracked out of a dozen worst packing job i have ever seen i sent eggs to a guy on the west coast, he then took those eggs box & all in his luggage & flew to the Philippines when he opened the box the eggs were still in good shape not bad for...

i have found that chicks from shipped eggs don't turn out to be as hardy as chicks from my own birds here my hatch rate for long distance eggs is only about 25% :( i hope everything works out for you piglett
