we have 1 Bresse hen but we didn't have a mate for her so we used a splash english orpington rooster we ended up with some large mostly white offspring they were yummy :) the one pictured in front is from this cross the pullets proved to be good layers like their mother

Not sure of his gender yet. He tends to be very active and inquisitive when they are outside of their brooder but he prefers to be alone when inside the box. He doesn't mingle very much and prefers to sleep outside their room. I find him very interesting. you could make the little guy a pet...

some people are crazy, others are just plain stupid i get to deal with both types often

no laying pellets along with whole corn in the cold months in the warm weather they get fermented feed but this time of the year it will freeze solid before they have a chance to consume much of it

here i can find some cheep brands that work for what i need them to do it's probably nothing i would want to feed a cat that i thought anything of but it's good enough for poultry once in a while when they need it

when my birds are in a molt i give them cheep dry cat food they love it & it helps them regrow their feathers faster
