Well, I ordered 4 each of Chocolate and bronze eggs from Porter's. He sent me 5 of each. 7 made it to lockdown and 5 hatched!!! My first turkey poults! Collecting eggs to hatch some chicks from my own stock. Love my little Brinsea. I used canned air to spray all the debris out of the top. Clean...

My son picked up my incubator lid and noticed the fan blades were catching on something. In two seconds it was fixed and fan running. 10 turkey eggs from Porter's are now set! 28 day countdown has begun.

LARGE! Will not fit into any normal luggage. If you take it out of the shipping container you will likely be able to fit it into a duffle type of bag and be able to put in overhead bin. Some bubble wrap comes with it so packed around it.

Couple of posts above. Mailed eggs did not fare well. Now I'm hoping mailed turkey eggs will do better.

I've got 8 heritage turkey eggs coming from Porter's beginning of April. After my epic fail on chicken eggs...aaarrrgh. I'm getting nervous about losing them as well... I thought I was OCD just enough to do everything right. Advice?

Wow...looks like a total fail for my entire first batch of eggs in my brinsea. Candled at day 9. Most have nothing to show. No vessels. Nothing. The rest are blood rings. 15 were shipped and there was a detached air cell in one so I know they were handled roughly. The other question is...

Temperature seems to have stabilized after a few small adjustments. I had one water well half full and humidity would not go below 60% even with vent wide open so I removed all the water. Despite this the weight has reduced nicely. Will candle tomorrow night on day 3. Crossing fingers!

Had the eco 20 brinsea bator running a few days before adding eggs. Temp perfect and humidity perfect. Added the eggs yesterday and now it's wacky. 101 and I keep adjusting slowly to try to decrease. I've read most this thread. Realize diff areas of the bator will be diff temps. And see that...
