Yes but a bsl should only have 1 barring gene, which he should pass on to half of his chicks, right? None of my females are barred, so if all of the chicks are he must have 2, so he cant be a bsl? Or is that wrong?

I had one that I had set upside down... it didn't have a pointy end so I guessed. I realized when I candled at day 11 that I had done that and flipped it back over. Checked again at day 13 and saw the little guy in there moving around, so I don't think it made any difference. I'll just watch...

Love watching the hatch time... I swear I can't tear my eyes away from my incubator for days! My last hatch I couldn't sleep, got up at 11:45 just had a feeling that my last pip was gonna work her way out. She hatched at 11:52, right in front of me! Who needs sleep when you've got chicks!
