W o w, Lady Grey is on a roll! Are her eggs Grey or a mix of colors? Winter laid two eggs and was done! Lol, she's my one and only though! I'm hoping to hatch her a mate by Christmas time! @TJChickens is sending me Call eggs Saturday! :weee

She's currently with a Pastel as we didn't expect her to start til spring... so should all be Blue Fawns if I remember correctly...

That bird is the cutest thing EVER!

He sure is!! And couldn't have a better Serama mama than Scovy Momma!!

And why didn't I remember you had Calls??? :th

Out of 8 shipped eggs..

1 wheaten ameracauna never developed
3 out of 4 lavender ameracaunas
3 out of 3 lavender orpingtons

I'm incubating in a gqf digital sportsman 1502
45-55% humidity 1-18 days
55-65% humidity 18-21 days

That's dang GOOD!!! :celebrate

I'm back, mostly. I admit to skipping over about 900 posts. I had a super busy couple of weeks, I have a couple of clients who needs halloween props built asap, and one who never confirmed with me that he needed a fake life size severed boars head prop for his lord of the flies play, until he asked 6 DAYS BEFORE THE PLAY if it was ready?!?! crazy, got it done though (first time working with faux-fur!). so now I only need to build a viking axe and shield, and about 30 props for a giant harry potter clue game, but I can handle that.
anyways back to chickens! I candled my eggs and am down to 31 from 54, but my incubator is much happier to have only one layer of eggs in it.
I had a terrible disaster outside though, moved my youngsters to the big coop, they did fine all day- none of my older birds bothered anyone but every one of them is gone now. no idea what would take just the young birds and leave everyone else alone, lots of feathers but no bodies. so now I am panicking that these little still unhatched chicks won't be able to move outside ever :( I will have to set up the game camera and see what is terrorizing the coop at night and how on earth it is getting in the coop.
(sigh) life slows down at some point right? I feel like someone pushed fast forward but I am still in slow-mo lol

Wow... that's a lot going on...

As to the juvies, my first thought is possum... they will go for the littles and leave the bigger ones... hope you find out what and how it's getting in...
