My first New Years chic was about 0445 local time and the second about 0700 -- my darkest egg hatched a light down naked neck. My first naked neck is fluffing up and there does appear to be a bowtie

I have 12 chicks now, but I concerned about one. It has a larger than normal head and it's feet are in front of it. It seems top heavy. I took pictures and a video. HELP!
The cracked egg with the tape hatch totally unassisted while I was sleeping for 2 hours! I'm up to 3 out and 1 more pip that I can see. Going to move the hatched ones over so I can check the other eggs and make sure pips haven't rolled over!! So excited!!
I accomplished my goal... I set 7 eggs for the NYD HAL on Dec. 12, and this morning is Jan. 1... and all 7 chicks hatched! 100%!!!HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!
I woke at 1 am, and had 4 chickies. 4 down... 3 more with good pips left to go.

My aunt just called me and she said I had a chick hatch sometime around 530 this morning..... I can't wait to get home and see it!!! I am on my way now!

No.....hubby was driving...although. think I should have drove....hahahahaha!!!!! He had a little too much last night.

Wish I could help. I have a chick with feet out in front too - more difficulty moving around. Worked a little harder to get out of the shell. Unsure if there may be an umbilical infection. If there is, it doesn't look like you can do much...supplement water
Up to midnight last night and I still wake up at 6:30! What is wrong with me? I think I'm excited to have some babies but first look at the bator and there's still no pips though I could've sworn I heard a faint peep
Hope you get lots of chicks, when we're yours due?
Did not make it to 12:00 only 11:00 woke at 2:00 to check stragglers forgot to take my alarm off so at 4:45 back awake to turn alarm off and check stragglers. Now I'm awake again 6:30.
