Actually set this lil brooder up for emergencies, power outages. Bought the storage box on clearance 2.5x6' (for artificial Christmas tree). Has two wheels on the bottom, so I can lift the front & move it closer to the generator. Actually the four Bresse in the picture hatched 7 days earlier. They were extremely unhappy by themselves they could hear these chicks peeping and I'd come home and find them on top of their brooder. So they are now happily together.
That is awesome!
The donations, jugging help and of course BYC Administrators plus moderators deserve a big thanks!

I want to hatch more now but have to resist the temptation
Ratty (baby pigeon) is now much bigger but still pretty weird looking. I was hoping he would be the color of his grandma (the one in my avatar) but I think he will just be grey.

My hatch is due today. I have 27 chicks out 38 eggs so far. Some of the remaining eggs have pipped.
