Dumbledore is also doing well - he's so bored with being indoors, but has lost too many feathers to sleep outside right now. I'll be moving him to a larger crate in a mudroom, after today or tomorrow (cooler than the house for refeathering, and CLEANER than being in my office!). He has one deeper wound above his tail that is healing/filling in more slowly (because of its size). I'm watching it carefully.

Amazing! :celebrate Kinnick is also very bored. I'm putting him back out this weekend.

Update:
Pin feathers are looking great! Most naked skin is covered.

Just a tiny scab left from where he was skinned.

Our weather this weekend is supposed to be very mild, 60-70 degrees. I'm ready to move him out but heard a bit of wheezing this morning. Only when I was pestering him. Any thoughts @casportpony? I have him with the honas as my "sacrifice" bird, to see if they're carriers of anything. It's been a week. The honas came from a NPIP breeder.

I could keep him in a bit longer, but the crowing contests are really getting out of hand. :rant
