it actually does make me think about it more though if people are telling me to get them. But when I consider getting a new animal so far it almost always ends in me getting them. No matter how much I think it through, the pros outweigh the cons

I know from running the NYD hatch that members get anxious when they do not see their name in the list.
 
My name is only on the list once! How come it's only on the list once?! The NYD one had people on the list a few times! I wanna be added again! Add me again! Add me agaaaaain! :))
