In the Brooder
This is Rosie the Black Copper Maran and she is supposed to be a pullet, but her comb has developed fairly earlier than her three (unrelated) sisters. Rosie is two and a half weeks old and I know she is too young to sex definitively, but we are not allowed to have roosters here and last time we had a male it broke my heart. Anyway, here are some pictures I just took like 5 minutes ago. We got her from this place called Mill Valley Chickens and they source their stock from Myer or McMurray or something.
