HELP!!!! 38 hours since pip and he can't get out!!!!

I've got 3 eggs in the bator that are all pipped.  None of them have been able to clear a hole yet out of the pip.  The first one pipped 38 hours ago.  It looks like he is trying to zip from top to bottom rather than side to side.  The bulge he is working on keeps moving up and down for 9 hours straight now and still can't break a hole out.  The egg rocks like crazy whenever it hears something.

The 2nd egg has been pipped for 34 hours.  Finally, since the very first pip, I noticed some more action on the pip.  Made the bulge slightly wider.  Still doesn't look anywhere near being ready to come out.

Last egg pipped 16-24 hours ago overnight.  One little crack and nothing since.

Temp is 98-100, humidity 73-77.  They just completed day 28 about 5 hours ago so they're technically late.  One other egg already hatched 40 hours ago and he took 36 hours from pip to hatch as well.  Can't get any 3 of them to make a peep while the one that hatched peeped like crazy the whole time he was in the egg after pipping.

Is this normal to take so long?  Should I candle them to see what the heck is going on?

The average time that most people get is around 30 hours give or take a few. It seems a little long but I'm not too worried right now. If you're really worried you could try chipping a little off of the eggs or cracking it in a few places so they can push out themselves.

I would work on getting them out.  If they stay in the shell too long their legs could get deformed.  Chip away small pieces of shell around the pip hole, keeping it damp with warm water, but being careful not to get any on the bill.  Stop if you see blood stop, and wait.  If you see blood they're not ready.

Ten hours from my last post and not progress.  Last about 8 hours ago I finally took the one that pipped first out and opened up his pip.  He's in there, but he's still not trying to get out.  Found a big thick blood vein in the membrane going through the egg sac and that still hasn't shrunk down.  None of the others have made the hole through their shells either.
