Hate to contradict QM, but I may have been the one that said cockerel on the lav orp, and I still think so. None of my girls have tail feathers like that. No crowing yet? I don't see saddle feathers, but they can develop slowly. I could be wrong though. I'm on mobile and its not letting me blow up pics anymore.
Great pics. Here's a pic of one of each of mine, taken at 16-1/2 weeks. I looked thru lots of my pics, ans I think my males were much redder by 17 weeks than yours, but the females much less so. So maybe you do have a pullet. It's the tail feathers that are throwing me. :/Thanks - No crowing and no obvious cockerel behavior at this point, in fact very much just of the rest of the bunch after the top of the pecking order. As you can see from the pics of the rest of the crew all hatched on the same day, "Stella" has the most red going on - I was hoping that would mean "she" may be the first to lay. Here is a progression 6 Weeks 11 Weeks 17 Weeks
Thanks!
Time will tell - we were sure we were going to loose the LO when the shipment arrived, it wasn't until 1 week till we thought the chick would survive. It would be a bummer if we need to re-home due to local laws.
